  • What is the first step?
    The first step is request an appointment via email or by phone.
  • Do you accept insurance? What if I don't have insurance?
    I am contracted with the following insurance companies: -United Healthcare -Nebraska Medicaid -Blue Cross Blue Shield -Aetna -Cigna -Medica -UMR (United Plans) -Ambetter I accept HSA/FSA payments, credit card, debit card, and the option to pay via the online client portal. If you are self-pay, my rate is $150 per 45 minute session. I take on a limited number of clients on a sliding fee scale for those who could not afford therapy otherwise.
  • How long does therapy take?
    There is no cookie cutter time frame for therapy. For some clients with short term goals, the process can last only a few months. When addressing issues involving attachment, trauma, life transitions, grief, etc; the process and length of time is unique to the individual.
  • Do you prescribe medication?
    No, I am a trained psychotherapist who provides therapy. Medication is prescribed by a licensed psychiatrist, your primary healthcare doctor, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, etc. I can help you find a provider or collaborate care with your existing provider.
